very quiet house
Spruce ceilings, larch walls, and windows placed so the valley does most of the decorating. The kitchen is fully equipped and opens straight onto the dining table and the terrace, so cooking never means leaving the conversation.
There is an espresso machine for slow mornings, a washer-dryer for muddy days, and a desk with wired internet if you have to work for an hour. For small children there is a travel cot, a booster seat, books and toys, all included. The sound system runs through the living room, the pergola and the sauna, so a record started at breakfast follows you outside.

What is actually in the house
Two bathrooms: one with a bath, one with a walk-in shower, plus two separate toilets. With eight people in the house that arrangement matters more than it sounds.
The kitchen is fully equipped and open to the dining table, with an espresso machine for the mornings and a washer-dryer for the days that end in mud.
There is a desk by the window with a wired connection as well as Wi-Fi, which is enough for a call or an afternoon of work if the week refuses to end on Friday.
For small children there is a travel cot with bedding, a booster seat for the table, books, toys and somewhere indoors to spread them out. All of it is included, so there is no need to pack half the house.
The sound system runs through the living room, the pergola and the sauna as separate zones, so a record started at breakfast can follow you to the water without waking anyone still asleep upstairs.
